Gilthead Seabream in UK Waters

Warming seas are thought to be responsible for an increase of Gilthead seabream in the UK; an arrival that is welcomed by fishermen and anglers! Jen Lewis, PhD researcher at the University of Exeter has been studying the ecology and distribution of Giltheads, in order to generate data that may inform future conservation or management. Here Jen will tell us about some of her findings, and the importance of estuaries like the Helford for this species.
