Helford’s Landscape Character and Marine Environment

At Gweek Village Hall, TR12 6UG

Entry £3.  Members and children Free

Speaker Birgit Hontzsch

An interesting and informative talk to explain landscape character for the Helford area and how this fits with Cornwall Council’s planning policies.  Importantly, how it can be used to inform decisions on land management ranging from measures to increase biodiversity, protecting the distinctive heritage and commenting on or putting together planning applications.  Looking at the interface of land and sea, and how changes in land management may affect the marine environment and our overall perception of the whole catchment.
