Magnificent Moths

Monday 21st June or Tuesday 22nd June (depending on the weather forecast!)

An opportunity to see moths ‘up close’! With ecologist Pat Farrell. These magnificent creatures, masters of camouflage, come to light ‘traps’ overnight. The ‘traps’ are harmless, and enable us to identify and examine the moths the following morning whilst the moths are inactive. Note the early start. The venue, Little Helland, Treverva has mature trees and meadow, is a good example of the habitats found in the Helford upper catchment. Prebooking only please.
